Ray Parlour
Ray Parlour is a professional footballer who currently plays for Wembley FC. Born in 1973, he is most famous for his time at Arsenal where he was nicknamed 'The Romford Pele'. He joined the Gunners in 1989 as a trainee and made his debut in 1992 in a match against Liverpool. He is fondly remembered by the fans even though it is a number of years since he left the club.
He moved to Middlesbrough in 2004 and played in sixty games during the next two and a half years. He was released from his contract in 2007 and spent a brief period training with his old club Arsenal.
Ray joined Hull City in 2007 and was instrumental in helping them avoid relegation. However, his contract was not renewed and he was released at the end of the season.
In 2012 he was one of a number of former professional players who agreed to join Wembley FC to play in their FA Cup campaign.
