Gary Marshall - Comedian

Gary Marshall has been in the business for more than twenty years. A talented comic, he comes from a family of comedians (third generation in fact!) and he began his career as a Butlins Redcoat at Blackpool's Metropole Hotel. He has gone on to establish himself as one of the most popular comics on the after dinner circuit. He has a unique style, is charming and suited to both all male and mixed audiences.

In 1987 he turned professional and went on to tour with several shows, where he acted as compere, in addition to giving the occasional performance himself. Gary's first appearance in television was in 1988 on the popular entertainment show 'Bob says Opportunity Knocks'. He has appeared on many other shows including Sky TV's 'Stand and Deliver', 'The Comedians' and ITV's 'Big Big Talent Show'.

Gary has performed at venues up and down the country in addition to a number of different locations abroad. Gary is a huge fan of football and he is a regular at football clubs performing at sportsman's dinners and testimonials. In 1999 Gary was honoured to receive the Comedian of the Year award.
